Volente Homes For Sale & Real Estate, NW Austin Homes with Lake Travis Views
Homes for sale or lease close to 183 & Anderson Mill Road (NW Austin, Texas)

Volente is a great place to live. Especially if you like the convenience of the city without the suburban feel. Close to everything in NW Austin, Volente is a fairly small community on FM 2769, also knows as Dobbs City Scenic Drive or Volente Road, about 30-40 minutes northwest of downtown Austin. Part of the Volente area is actually incorporated as the Village of Volente. The rest of what people call Volente is within Austin’s ETJ.
Around 600 families live in Volente in anything from small homes hidden in the hills to expensive waterfront homes with amazing Lake Travis views. The area is home to several marinas. One Volente favorite spot is Café Bleu on Lime Creek Road. You can take a tram down to the restaurant or tie a boat up and enjoy dinner on Lake Travis. Read the rest of this entry »

This is the typical 10% down loan with PMI (mortgage insurance) offered by Countrywide, Wells Fargo, Washington Mutual, etc. As a Mortgage Broker, I try to avoid PMI when possible. To do so we can do a 80/10 or even an 80/20 to avoid PMI. 100% loans or an 80/20 mortgages have higher rates than 5% down loans.
